Importing Existing Items is an easy way to create a new CrossLead Plan if there are already existing Items created in CrossLead. For example, an additional Plan can connect cross-functional Items from other Plans together. 

To create a Plan from existing Items, go to the Plans page. Click the “Create New” button and then choose “Import Existing Items” as the method of Plan creation. 

Next, choose a planning framework: CrossLead, OKRs, or custom. 

Once a planning framework is chosen, a table will show a list of Items in CrossLead that you can choose to import into your new Plan. 

Each column of the table contains a filter that can narrow down the options in the list. 

To apply a filter, click the filter icon on any table column. 

Select the Items you want to import by checking the boxes to the left of the Item, and then press “Import Selected Items.” 

You can add teammates to help accomplish the Plan. These can be users in CrossLead or new teammates which you can invite via email. 

Give the Plan a title. 

Next, the Plan will be in edit mode and Items that were imported will be located under “Unlinked Items.”  

To place Items into the Plan, click on “Unlinked Items.” Hover over an Unlinked Item and drag the Item over a placeholder tile in the Plan.  

Items in edit mode can be edited in line or new Items can be created. 

To edit an Item, click on an Item tile to edit the title. The action (…) button provides more options including changing the owner and editing Item details. 

To create a new Item, click into a placeholder tile in the Plan and give the Item a title and press save.
